Privacy policy

1. Who we are

ReelVerse ("we") provides a streaming player application and this website. For any privacy question, contact us at the support address shown on the home page.

2. What stays on your device

Your likes, saved titles, watch history, playback position, interface language and screen preferences are stored locally in your browser or app storage. They are not uploaded to us, and clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app removes them.

3. Account data

If you create an account, we store the credentials you choose (a username and a password stored in hashed form) so that you can sign back in. We do not ask for your real name, address or phone number.

To let you recover a forgotten password, we also store the email address you give us when you register, on the app's account server. It is used for one thing only: sending you a short-lived reset code when you tap “Forgot password?”. The message is delivered by our email provider, Mailjet, and we do not use your address for newsletters or marketing. You can change or remove it at any time in the app's Settings, or ask us to remove it.

4. Payments

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record. Your card details are entered on Gumroad's own checkout and never reach us. We receive only what is necessary to issue your licence — typically an email address, an order identifier and the fact that a purchase succeeded. Gumroad's own privacy policy governs the payment data it collects.

5. Licence keys

When you activate a licence, we store the licence record (the key, the plan, the expiry date, the device count and the email or label supplied at purchase) on our licence server so that the app can validate it. Licence validation records when a key is used and from which device slot.

6. No ads, no selling, no tracking profiles

The application contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no behavioural profiling, and we do not sell or rent personal data. This website loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of serving the font files.

7. Content and third parties

Drama titles are streamed from third-party sources. Those sources may receive your IP address or device details when a stream is requested, exactly as they would if you visited them directly.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to correct or delete the account and licence records we hold about you, and you may cancel a subscription at any time through Gumroad. Contact support and we will action a verified request.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and revise the date above.
